Privacy
I use your information to tell you about Atomeal, send sample packs and make the product better. Nothing is sold.
Data controller
Jakub Wijata. Email: jakub@atomeal.no.
What I store
- Waitlist: name, email, phone if you give it, the sample pack you pick, and your answers about what you have in mind afterwards and roughly how many pouches a month. Used to send your sample pack and to let you know when sales start. When you sign up, you get a confirmation email from jakub@atomeal.no, sent with Cloudflare. The flavours decide which ones I keep making. Your address is only stored once you pay for shipping. Shipping is paid with Stripe: I get your name, address, email and phone if you give it, never your card number. You get a code that shows your place in the queue. If you sign up via a friend’s link, I store that you came via that link, so your friend moves up the queue. Your friend only sees their own place, not who you are. If you come from the calculator, the protein need it worked out is stored with your sign-up.
- Crispbread waitlist: email, name if you give it, where you came from (for example a QR code), and your answers about format, flavours, price and taste. I store it to let you know when the crispbread is ready, and to see which flavours people want. Everyone on the list gets one email when it is ready, and a confirmation from jakub@atomeal.no when they sign up. You only get news and offers if you have ticked the box for it. If you sign up again with the same email, your answers are updated. Your answers are deleted no later than 12 months after the crispbread goes on sale. To be deleted sooner, email jakub@atomeal.no.
- Orders: email, what you order, and your answer to “What do you use P60 for?” if you answer. I get your name, address and phone from Stripe when you pay, never your card number. Used to send the pack, send the confirmation and handle the guarantee. If you tick the reminder box, you get one email when it’s time for a new pack (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You turn it off with the link in the email. I store whether the reminder was sent, whether you clicked a link in it and whether you ordered again, not whether you opened it.
- Feedback: your answers, and your name if you give it. Used to make the product better. If you say yes to being quoted, I may use what you wrote on the website, with your first name or without a name, as you choose.
The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing from it is stored by me unless you sign up from it.
Why I am allowed to
- Waitlist, sample pack and orders: you ask for it yourself, so I need the information to deliver (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- News and offers, and quotes from your feedback: only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Feedback answers and counting visits: legitimate interest in making the product and the website better (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Payments: the accounts must be kept under the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (Article 6(1)(c)).
Visits
I count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which page, where you came from, browser and country. It uses no cookies and does not store who you are, so it loads without asking you first. The font on the site is also loaded from here, not from Google.
Cookies
Only if you say yes, I use:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland): which pages you read, where you came from, and whether you sign up. The cookies _ga and _ga_* are kept for up to 2 years.
None of this is loaded before you choose. The legal basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and you can withdraw it at any time. The data may be transferred to the US. Your choice is stored in your browser.
Where
With Cloudflare, in the EU where possible. Payments go through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland).
How long
Waitlist and feedback: until no later than 12 months after sales start, or until you ask me to delete it. Payments and receipts: for 5 years after the end of the financial year, because the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires it. I cannot delete those earlier.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to get a copy of it, and you can object to the processing. Send an email to jakub@atomeal.no.
If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
